Salty by the numbers: 2011 Beneteau Oceanis 50. 175 horsepower Yanmar diesel, a factory upgrade. 120% genoa, plus a code zero, a spinnaker and a new mainsail. European Conformity (CE) Category A (Ocean). 2 design studios: Berret-Racoupeau (hull) and Nauta Design (interior). 1 home port: Solomons Island, Maryland, with Starlink and AIS aboard.
